Making section stack background transparent

Greetings,
I have a menu in a section stack. I'd like the background of the section stack to be transparent. I've used the opacity property, but that appears to effect the entire widget, either the menu or the section stack, making them completely transparent. I only want the background transparent, so that the background image of the entire page shows through the section stack. Does anyone know how to do this?

The SectionStack has a styleName of "sectionStack" and that CSS defines a background color or image. You could either replace this with another style or modify the skin itself (skin_styles.css).

Thanks. I had actually been working with those styles already, but it turned out that I wasn't setting the transparency correctly. I thought there might be something I was missing about SmartClient, but using the method you described here works fine.
