Dynamic Form default width

What is the value for this? It seems that if I create a dynamic form with one field in it, it is shown with a decent width property. Is this coming from the default minColWidth?

It's based on the column widths and the default widths on individual items. The "Form Layout" overview under DynamicForm in the Reference provides an overview.
