Grid Header Spans and fields reordering

I've just noticed that header spans have a (documented) limitation, quote:
"Neither headerSpans themselves nor the fields within them may be drag reordered, but other unspanned headers may be."
is it a limitation that you may address in the future, or am I missing a reason that prevents doing this?
