case sensitivity in formula builder

Are there any plans to allow some degree of case insensitivity in the Formula Builder? Our users are wanting to enter formulas like MAX() or ROUND() without needing to worry about entering max() and round().

We can make all-uppercase and initial uppercase (eg Round()) allowed - this has been assigned but won't bubble to the top for some time.
