Detect server connection

Hi,

We are using SmartClient power edition with real time messaging module. How can we detect if the connection to server lost.

Because the connection could come back at any time, the only way to tell if you're connected is continuous retries, and Messaging does this automatically.

If you want to show the user some kind of message indicating the connection is down, we would recommend having the server send regular updates, and if these haven't been received in a whole, show a message like "Connection problem: No server update for X seconds"
