Max records selected

Where can I find the maximum number of rows that we can select in a listgrid? I tried with 50 records and I get the message "Can't select that many records at once."

Second question is, would we be able to modify this maximum number?

Oh I see now - if the data is not fully fetched, the user cannot perform a select all.
