Optical issues with SC 8.3 and IE9

Hi,

with IE9 the borders between form items and form icons are missing. Also the buttons are looking different in IE9. Please see the enclosed screenshots.

With Firefox/Chrome everything works as expected. Using v82p_2012-08-15_Pro

Also the prompts of form items are white in SC 8.3. In SC 8.2 they were yellow, which was much better to read. Occurs in all browsers.

We are having difficulty reproducing the first problem. Can you verify:
- the problem occurs on the latest 8.3d branch build downloaded from http://smartclient.com/builds/
- that clearing browser cache and refreshing the page does not fix the issue.

If so, could you show us a code snippet that demonstrates the problem. Also - let us know which skin you're using and whether you have any doctype specified on the test case.


We agree on the appearance of the hover prompt. We will be switching this back to the old color before the final 8.3 release occurs.
