Hello, please add showFilterEditor:true to the #dataSourceFields sample, then type 1234 in the population filter field, and press tab: you'll see the value is formatted as '1,234'.

We're not reproducing this in the online Feature Explorer.

Are you perhaps only seeing this only in a certain locale, or might you have some code that tries to customize the built-in SimpleTypes (such as "integer")?
