DevConsole: How to configure where Log.html is looked for ?

I currently have a SmartClient on Tomcat deployment layout where the DevConsole no longer works properly: Log.html is not found ! It seems to me that the location where Log.html is looked for depends on the individual webpage URL.

Is there a configuration way to tell the DevConsole to look for Log.html always at the same location, independent of the webpage URL at hand ?

Why Oh Why does nobody answer such an important question ? Without having the ISC DevCon at our disposal, one is literally lost during ISC development efforts ...

Must I have a support contract with Isomorphic in order to shed some more light on such a crucial issue ?
