Thansk the vertical-align fix has been added because in Enterprise skin the icon wasn't properly aligned.
Using your example code does solve the descripbed issue.
I know this is a very detailed look, but the icon of the button and the MenuBitton are not on the same height, the MenuButton icon seems to be 1 pixel down,
Its reproducable in Chrome (Version 59.0.3071.115 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit)) and Version: 11.1p Built: 2017-07-28 and Tahoe Skin
