How can I call a external java class method method through a form field function()?

Hello,

I am using isomorphic smartClient V10.0 for my project. I have created a function() inside a .js file under which I wanted to call an external java class method? Is it possible ? if yes, how? I tried to msartclient documentation but did not get much info. I will appreciate if anyone can help me in this.
