    ListGridFields with date or time editor do not mark content on selection

    Hi there,
    we noticed that the behvavior of selecting an editable ListGrid field with editor type date or time has recently changed. When selecting an editable a field (via mouse click or tabbing), the whole content used to be marked. Now the cursor is just placed where you click, or at the end of the field when you enter it via tabbing. This can be seen in the "Edit by Row" ListGrid Example.

    (How) can the behaviour be changed back to marking all content, so you can select the field and start entering a date or time right away?

        We looked into this - it turns out that selecting the whole value on mouse-click was never the default behavior (for dates or other fields) - but selecting when tabbing into a date field should work.

        We'll fix it today.

          Hi there,

          thanks for your fix, dates are now selected when tabbing to a field with date editor type.
          Unfortunately it still doesn't for time fields (tried it with the "SmartClient_v111p_2017-09-29_Pro" version).

          Are you going to fix that aswell?

            Yes, we're reworking this area a little to cover some edge cases like time and textArea fields - we'll update here when that's in place.

              So after one month is there any change on this bug?
              Since we are using this feature in our views, we're getting many feedbacks from our customers, that this feature is missing.

                Apologies for the delay - it's been fixed and you can test it out in builds dated November 1 and later.
