ListGrid locks cell on editing, forcing user to have to click outside the cell and come back in to be able to edit its value

In this scenario, the user is entering time-sensitive and important data into the grid using keyboard entry only (they need to enter several values as fast as possible). The user expects consistent behavior when entering the data, however, very often the screen stops responding and user must then use the mouse to recover from that and start the data entry again. We are using IE 11.674.15063.0.

We are attaching a very simple code example that demonstrates the issue. We are also attaching a video showing the issue. To run the example, please remove the .txt exstension on the json files (couldn't upload them as json).

We also have a video that shows the problem - it's on gif format because we couldn't upload other formats (like mp4) through the forum. Let us know if you'd like to have a better resolution video and how we can send it to you.

To share a video just host it somewhere (Dropbox, etc) and link to it. We aren't a filesharing service, hence the limits here.

Less important than the video is just a simple description of what's going on. When text entry in the animation stops, is the user still trying to press keys? What keys?

Other omitted basics:
1. what version are you using? If it's not the latest patched version please re-test with the latest patched version
2. is this only affecting IE for you?
3. what platform are you running IE on?

Judging by the lack of any special settings (other than odd ones) it seems very likely we're not going to reproduce this. Have you tried this on a clean install of IE (no extensions) in GWT compiled mode?
