Hello Blama, you're right, I don't see it in Win10, either.
I see it only using OSX High Sierra (10.13.1 (17B1002)), Chrome Version 63.0.3239.84 and also 63.0.3239.108 (64 bit), and Safari 11.0.1 (13604.3.5)

Yes, all of these issues were recent OSX-only - we're looking into why the drag rectangle is remaining visible when the browser context-menu is closed with ESC and will update here when it's fixed.
