    SmartClient 10 GUI issue

    Hi,

I am using Smart Client 10 . I find some issues which occurs only for particular skin.

For Smartclient, silver wave and blackops skin , calendar is displayed like this:

Name:	Calendar.PNG
Views:	95
Size:	20.4 KB
ID:	252385
Here year and day are not visible properly.

For other skin , it is displayed like this:

Name:	Calendar1.PNG
Views:	76
Size:	15.1 KB
ID:	252386
Here year and day are visible properly.

Can you please give some suggestion to resolve this and make GUI better?

    Thanks and Regards,
    Shylandarya V

Please try the latest patched version of 10.1. If you still see an issue, check that you do not have any added CSS that may be interfering with rendering.

      Hi Isomorphic team,

As of 15th July 2025, the DateChooser component in the Simple Calendar sample of the Smart GWT Showcase continues to exhibit rendering issues when using the BlackOps skin. Specifically:
      • The Month, Date, and Week labels are truncated.
      • Navigation buttons are partially obscured or misaligned.
      • The month/year chooser menus also display incorrectly.

The third issue is also reproducible with the Enterprise and Enterprise Blue skins.

Could you please advise if there’s a known fix or recommended workaround?

      Thanks in advance!

We would recommend using either Shiva Dark or Obsidian for a dark appearance with any modern version of SmartClient.

BlackOps has not been maintained against more recent versions of SmartClient, because there would be no reason to use it with those versions.
