General question: Focus handling for new objects

Hi Isomorphic,

in 11.1p and 12.0p showcases, when switching to a sample with Down-Arrow in the Sample list, the newly loaded sample gets the focus.
This is unexpected, as it does not happen always.

See here:

• Click the Sample title "Hello world (styling)" again in the left TreeGrid to put the focus on the TreeGrid
• Then click the down arrow
• The sample "Hello you (form)" opens and takes the focus.

The same happens here:

• Click the Sample title again in the left TreeGrid to put the focus on the TreeGrid
• Then click the down arrow
• The sample "Inline operator filter" opens and takes the focus.

In both cases I'd expect the focus to stay on the TreeGrid. This happens in the 11.1p showcase as well and if this is not Showcase only, it might be an issue (minor for me, though).

This is Showcase only. Some samples are configured to set the focus somewhere within the sample when the sample loads.

This isn't something we plan to change. Navigating the sample tree via keyboard would cause you to load hundreds of samples so doesn't seem a likely way for users to do things.
