Chart Builder?

Hi there,

Are there any plans to build a standard Chart Builder widget that would let users pick a type of chart and fields to display on the chart as well as some formatting options and then the ability to drop that chart into a window or portal layout? Seems like that would be a really useful feature.

Not at the moment - we've created such things on consulting projects but they always tend to need to be customized so heavily that there is little to be reused.

If you wanted it as a feature anyway, or even wanted a new product sample created showing how to build one without any new framework features (as a starting point for your own implementation), both would be valid Feature Sponsorships.
