isc-maven-plugin: overlays vs webjars

Hello, I've started to use webjars for some 3rd party js library (ie CKEditor), and I'm wondering if SmartClient wouldn't be easier to use with maven if the isc-maven-plugin would be based on webjars instead of overlays. Is there something against it? Did you consider using them?

Can you explain how you believe working with a webjar might be easier than with the overlay prodiced by the plugin? What would you hope to achieve?
