    12.0p+ Timeline date l10n

    Hi Isomorphic,

please see these screenshots of this DE and EN timeline filtering samples (v12.0p_2021-05-01).

As you can see, the date format is the same. In German locale it should be "28.6." instead of "6/28".
Also, in general, it would be great if you could (optionally?) show the localized day shortnames like Mon/Mon, Tue/Die, ... as well.
Also, always the 1st week of the timeline is not separated with a thin white line from the frozen lane name column.

    Best regards
    Blama

    Hi Blama
We'll quickly respond to each issue individually:

    > As you can see, the date format is the same. In German locale it should be "28.6." instead of "6/28".
We do have a system to generally localize date display formats so we'll take a look and see if there's a problem where TimeLine is failing to make use of that ability. We're treating this as a potential bug

    > Also, in general, it would be great if you could (optionally?) show the localized day shortnames like Mon/Mon, Tue/Die, ... as well.
Thanks for the suggestion. This is a feature request rather than a bug - we'll pass it along to the design team for consideration.

    > Also, always the 1st week of the timeline is not separated with a thin white line from the frozen lane name column.
We'll take a look at this one as a potential bug too

We'll be responding soon on the first and third issues (the potential bugs) and we'll ensure the design team considers the feature request.

    Regards

We made some 13.0 changes to address your latter points and will port these back today - please retest with a build dated May 11 or later.

We adjusted day-header titles so they're properly localized by default, as you noted - but note that HeaderLevelTitleCustomizer and DateHeaderCustomizer exist for further customizing.

Note that these issues are all fixed in 12.0 as well, but autobuilds haven't run for that branch in a few days - we're looking into it.

        Hi Isomorphic,

I can see that these are fixed in SNAPSHOT_v13.0d_2021-05-11.
There are some issues I did not spot before left:
        • The time range in German should be displayed as "29. Jun. – 19. Jul. 2020", or at least similar to this (see standard here)
        • The Timeline width in the data is different to the header, which looks strange. The data is using the space below the sorterButton meant for the vertical scrollbar. Normal ListGrids don't do this. This does not happen when the vertical scrollbar is needed (reduce Timeline height to 400 in sample code)
        Best regards

          Hi Isomorphic,

in addition to #4 this also effects the "New event" window. See the screenshot. It should be "Mon, 29. Jun - ..." or even better "Mon, 29.6.- ..."
