Unable to select Multiple Rows

The docs for useRowSpanStyling say "Because this setting enables canSelectCells, it is incompatible with any APIs that expect a record-oriented data model.", so I assume, this is hard to do.

I want multiple rows to be selected(It's in row span) in the ListGird but when I use useRowSpanStyling:true, it is not allowing me to select multiple rows (dynamic rows) with Shift keys. Is there any way with this useRowSpanStyling properties.
