SmartClient 13.1d Showcase sample selection portal impossible to empty

It looks like there are more than 50 samples in the Featured Samples group - you'll need to increase the "# of Samples" slider at the top to see both of those groups together.

it seems something is still wrong here (SNAPSHOT_v13.1d_2024-03-27, v13.0p_2024-03-19, v12.1p_2024-03-19).
See the showcase and select only "Layout" and/or "Featured samples".
"Layout"-samples are only displayed if you don't select "Featured samples", which is unexpected.

Hi Isomorphic,

I can see this working in SmartClient 13.1d (SNAPSHOT_v13.1d_2023-10-05), but not in SmartGWT 13.1d EE (SNAPSHOT_v13.1d_2023-10-05).
SmartGWT 13.1d Client does not have new samples as of today (SNAPSHOT_v13.1d_2023-10-05).

IMHO these samples are missing in SmartGWT: Toggle (client), UnionDataSource (EE), (Maps)

Thanks for the report - a couple of fixes have been made for today's builds, dated October 1 and later.

In live releases (13.0), you'll see the "New Samples" checkbox start to work properly. In dev releases like 13.1, new samples are considered "BETA", and you'll see a separate BETA checkbox that will filter them.

This was always the intended behavior. Once 13.1 is released, the BETA checkbox will no longer show and the samples from that group can instead be filtered as "New Samples".

other than in 13.0p in 13.1d (SNAPSHOT_v13.1d_2023-09-27) the "New samples"-Portlets will still be shown even if you deselect them in the DynamicForm above the Portal.
