13.0p+ Clicked links in dark skins have low contast

Obsidian 13.1d (visited links OKish)
Twilight 13.0p (visited links not OK, alternate rows good)
Twilight 13.1d (visited links not OK, alternate rows not enough contrast IMHO)

Thanks Blama - we've addressed this for tomorrow's builds, dated July 27 and later.

If you're interested, the difference was that 12.1 set global colors for <a> tags but, in limiting global CSS styling so that SmartClient doesn't affect page-level settings when embedded, 13.0+ uses a .linkText style - this is applied to the LinkItem, but was not being applied to the links generated by ListGrids. Having made that change, you should find links look the same in ListGrids as they do in LinkItems, in all skins.

I can see the change in 13.1d, but not in v13.0p_2024-07-27. 13.1d is now looking fine in both dark skins.

Please also see the two Twilight links. In both version the link-buttons on the very right (e.g. "Prefer to write UI in Java") are not a fixed width, but as wide as the text. This is different to other skins.

Also see the left bottom with the "?" link - the icon is missing here for some of the links and mis-sized for others.

the links here also don't have the .linkText css class (SNAPSHOT_v13.1d_2024-07-28, both dark skins).

Thanks Blama - we've fixed all instances where the Showcase generates links that should be affected by the skin, fixed the right-button sizing issue and the "?" button size in Twilight and ported all of these changes to 13.0.

We do still see the icon may not show until rollover in one or more skins and we'll get to that one.

Please retest with today's builds, dated July 30 or later, for the rest.

The issue where the "Privacy" icon in 13.1 would be missing until rollover in some skins has been fixed, but won't land until tomorrow's builds.

Hi Isomorphic,

there seems a strange thing to be happening with visited links, where they don't get the :visited pseudo class in v13.0p_2024-07-31.
v12.1p_2024-07-30 and SNAPSHOT_v13.1d_2024-07-30 are OK.

See the video of the three versions, where in 13.0p the 1st three Wikipedia links look not visited, while they do in 12.1p/13.1d.

I can see everything in this thread is fixed now in 12.1p, 13.0p, 13.1d using 2024-08-01.

W.r.t. #7 I noticed that the links in the sample categories all look :visited, even if they are not, e.g. here.
