    Calendar bug on iOS

SmartClient Version: SNAPSHOT_v13.1d_2024-10-24/AllModules Development Only (built 2024-10-24)

Safari on iPad and iPhone XCode simulators, and also on iPhone 8 physical device.

Hello, please try the databoundCalendar sample in the showcase, switch to the month view and tap on a day to open the eventEditor, and then just close it.
Now that the day is selected, tap on it again, this time the event editor dialog won't show.

hi Claudio - apologies for the silence on this one too! We've made a change and you should find it fixed for tomorrow's builds, dated November 13.

Hello, while it works in relation to that issue, it now always opens the full event editor.

That's intentional, actually - it's related to your sponsorship for long-events and is what Google Calendar does - a new event on the monthView is assumed to be an "all day" event, and we show the editor directly, so you can apply times if you want to.

We'll consider your complaint and perhaps just switch it back to showing the simple dialog instead.

hi Claudio - we've switched this back for tomorrow's builds, so MonthView cell-clicks will show the eventDialog by default again.
