Strange bug involving smartclient, firefox, and jQuery

SmartClient Version v8.3p_2013-06-04 (2013-06-04)
jQuery v1.8.2
FireFox 22.0

After some research, everything pointed to this problem being caused by an uncaught error that is being thrown by jQuery. I've tried some of the solutions found online, but none of them worked. It seems now that it is a problem very similar to what was happening with jQuery a while ago, but it is actually happening inside smartclient's library.



I'm not sure if you have come across this problem before, but in case you have, can you tell me anything about it?

No, we haven't run into this one before. From the bugs you point to, it sounds like it's a bug in Firefox that would require extreme hacks on the part of JQuery (or SmartClient) to get around.

We'd suggest you make sure there's a clear Firefox bug filed for this, and comment about the importance of the bug on their bug tracker.
