cosmetic issue with dotted outline in smartclient grid

Hello,

We are observing the following non-critical but annoying cosmetic issue with smartclient grid.

In IE 8,9 every time you select a row in the grid, there is a dotted outline that toggles on and off (pls see attachments).

We can see this behavior on your demo site as well, e.g.
http://smartclient.com/#columnOrder

Note, only the IE Standards Document Mode seems to be impacted. It is not observed with IE switched to the Quirks mode.

Please advise if this is something you would consider to address.

This is the native focus indicator provided by the browser. It is possible to hide it, but doing so would be considered an accessibility violation - see posts 14 and 15 here.
