    Using IIS7.5 as webserver, possible to use Export to PDF/Excel functionality ?

    Hi Admin,

    We are using :

    smartclient version: "v8.2p_2012-04-18/PowerEdition Deployment"
    IE 9.0
    .NET 4.0 , IIS 7.5
    =========================================

    In detail, ours is an application developed on Visual Studio 2010 (.NET framework 4.0) but the pages have only HTML, Javascript and use smartclient and jquery controls.
    The application will be hosted in IIS 7.5.

    Please advise if it will it be possible for us to use the export to pdf and excel functionality provided by smartclient under this application architecture ?

    If yes, please provide the steps in detail.

    Thanks in advance.

    Export functionality requires Java running on the server. Java can be run under IIS although this is somewhat unusual. Please refer to other sites for instructions to set that up - it's not specific to SmartClient.

        That's one of many ways to do it - that particular approach relies on a particular third-party piece of software. We don't really have a specific recommendation for which approach to use.
