Excel to Grid sample

Hi, I see this sample but don't understand how it works. I've tried pasting data from an excel spreadsheet into the grid but nothing happens in the sample. Can you clarify?

Disregard, I see now that you have to select cells in the grid as well. I was expecting the cells I copied in to get pasted at the bottom but I guess it doesn't work that way?

Right, you need a selected region in order to define the place where data should be pasted. We'll revise the sample to have an initial selection to make this clearer.
