ya but what do you suggest I use it for? Have the user click on an additional icon to set the time to 00:00?

No, this is what we said:
So if it's for some reason common in your application to set to Today with 0 time, you could have a dedicated button for that, instead of having the "Today" button in the DateChooser destroy the current time value (which, again, we think would be an unpleasant surprise in many applications).If entering Today with a zero time is especially useful in your application, you could always have a FormItemIcon that does it directly.Comment
