    Repositioning Portlets in a PortalLayout

    Hi Guys,

    Environment consists of the following:
    1. SmartClient Version: v10.0p_2015-05-28/Enterprise Development Only (built 2015-05-28)
    2. Chrome Version: 41.0.2272.101 m

The problem I am having can more or less be reproduced in the Grid Portlets example from the SmartClient Explorer page, i.e. http://localhost:8082/isomorphic/system/reference/SmartClient_Explorer.html#editGridPortalLayout

As shown in the attached img1.gif, I first try to drag the "Supply Items" portlet over the "Animals" portlet. In img2.gif you can see just the outline of the drag is shown but no dropLine is visible. In the img3.gif attachment I drop the portlet but the result is somewhat broken, "Supply Items" moves partially underneath the "Animals" portlet. A similar thing happens if I were to drag and drop a Portlet just over the bar where the Column Properties drop down button is.

In our application we get similar behaviour and log messages e.g. isc.showConsole() logs: "13:43:15.337:MMV3:INFO:editModeDragTarget:PortalRow2_editProxy:PortalRow2 is not passing drop through - no ancestor is willing to accept the drop"

Ideally what we would like see happening is the drop get cancelled all together if no dropline is shown. Please can you advise on this issue I am experiencing?

    Kind Regards
    Kem

Sorry for the delay, this is being looked into - just a bit complicated to figure out the correct fix.

Thanks for pointing out this problem.

We've made a fix for it, which should show up in tomorrow's build. Give it a try and see whether it solves your problem -- let us know if not.

Thank you for the fix, I tested it and for the majority of our problems it works! Will do more testing and if I spot anything else will let you guys know.
