Collective feature sponsorship

Hello.
Did you think about some "Collective feature sponsorship" with kickstarter-like model?
I think a lot of developers without big budget will be happy to pay small fee instead thinking "this is expensive for me, I won't to order a new feature".

We've considered this exact thing in the past; if you have a specific feature where you've seen a couple of other people interested in the same thing, let us know, and we will look into setting up a Kickstarter project for that feature.
