Checkbox update on a treegrid

Hi Isomorphic,

We are using smartgwt version SmartClient Version: SC_SNAPSHOT-2011-03-24/PowerEdition Deployment (built 2011-03-24).

We have a checkbox on the Treegrid and use DMI way to communicate to the server. We have set editByCell true on the grid. When we do a check/uncheck DsRequest.getValues() method returns all the key/value pairs of the record instead of only updated checkbox value.

It behaves correctly for other cells which is of type Text, but for checkbox only it behaves weirdly. Is this a known issue?? and how to fix this.

Note: This checkbox is not the tree grid select checkbox, it is a field in the gird with checkbox displayed on it.

No, not a known issue (and doesn’t happen in samples so far as we can see). Please let us know if you find the cause.

Can you please give me the link of the sample which you are referring??

The behavior is consistent and I am surprise if this cannot be replicated.

There’s a public Showcase with many editing samples involving checkboxes. Note you are also using a 5 month old nightly build.
