I’ve noticed this issue when i was sending the value of a SelectItem with multiple selection to the server. If I do a fetchData to the server with a criteria that has as value 1,2,3, on the server side i see in the request only 3 (the value after the last comma).
The same thing happened when I was trying to order a ListGrid by multiple columns. Order by columnA,columnB, would get only _sortBy=>columnB on the server.
The solution that i found was to wrap the value between quotes before the DsRequest was fetching the data.
Is this a bug?
Versions: Smartclient 8.0 and also nightly build SmartClient_SC_SNAPSHOT-2011-05-11_LGPL
Try putting together a standalone test case - we’re not even clear on how you’re providing such a value in the DSRequest.
Ok, I’ve checked the console and looking at the RPCRequest I can see that this is not a SmartClient issue:
{
"actionURL":"test.php",

"prompt":"Finding records that match your criteria...",

"_startRow":0,
"_endRow":50,
"_sortBy":[

"columnB",
"columnC",
],
"_textMatchStyle":"substring",
"_componentId":"myGrid",
"_dataSource":"ds",
"isc_metaDataPrefix":"_",

My problem is that $_REQUEST[“_sortBy”] returns me only “columnC”.
