Js error for ListGrid

When I try to remove the current listgrid from root container in the record click event of list grid , I got a javascript error.

_14 is null, in ISC_GRID.js , line 557.

and when I call the SC.prompt() before removing, it can work. Is there any other way can resolve this problem ?

I remember a similar issue which I solved by removing the event master in a DeferredCommand. Hope this helps
