Slow running script warning with resultBatchSize

Running SmartGWT 2.5, IE 8 32 + 64 bit on Windows XP.

I have a request to a JSON webservice that returns up to 3 MB of data (it varies), about 10k records. I’m getting a slow running script warning when the data arrives. I have tried using setResultBatchSize on the DataSource, but I’m still getting the slow script warning.

As long as I let the script continue, I get no errors in the developer console.

Is there a way to set a delay between the batches, so I can give the browser enough time to become responsive before running the next batch?

Sounds like you are not using paging? That’s the way to deal with large data volume. See the QuickStart Guide’s Data Integration chapter, and RestDataSource for an example of a JSON message protocol that supports paging.
