Is there some specific functionality that requires the commons-lang-2.6 dependency?

Do you have any plans to drop this dependency?

It's used in certain core utilities, but has already been eliminated for 15.0.

Before you ask, no, we're not vulnerable to any of the CVEs related to it :)

Also, because the namespaces are difference, you can use lang 3.0 side by side.
