w.r.t. to #42 I noticed that SetFilterItem is still being mentioned in 13.1p docs. Now as a "broken" Javadoc link (just the qualified class name), it is at least four times in the ListGridField docs (via Ctrl-F).
I also have other design feedback, but as this thread is already very big, I'll create a new thread for new topics.
