Hi sjivan,
I'd like to add the italian translation for new resources, but I have some difficulties cause I don't understand the need of variable $builderType...
To go into particulars, italian have masculine and feminine nouns, hence some sentencies should use an appropriate article based upon the gender of the $builderType value. So I need to know if its value is always determined by the formulaBuilder_builderTypeText key, or wathever other logic.

But if it has always the same static value, wouldn't it be simpler (and safer, for italian localization) not to use that injected variable and leave it directly expanded into the sentence?

Moreover it seems that the variable injection is not properly working (at least on nightly build 2010-12-20):
for instance I see the message Invalid ${builderType}: ${errorText} (derived from the following localization entry)

formulaBuilder_invalidBuilderPrompt=Invalid $builderType\: $errorText

where I think the variable should be instead dinamically substituted with an injected value.
I've tried italian and english localization with the same result.
Same problem with summary builder.


I'll wait for your answer to insert the interested translations.

I've fixed the issue with variable substitution. Regarding the actual placement of the variable, it is exposed in the translation because some languages will need to have them placed differently in a sentence and not always at the end. For example some Arabic locales.

Smart GWT 2.4 is going to be released soon so please update the 99translations resource bundles at the earliest if you'd like the translations to make it into Smart GWT 2.4.
